Type of event: Teambuilding
Customer Group – Managers and Supervisors

Our Brief – Provide an enjoyable and motivating outdoor teambuilding event for experienced managers and supervisors. Challenge individuals to consider new working methods to maintain market leadership in a highly competitive environment. Focus on planning and prioritisation, sharing best practise and continuing service innovation.

What we did - We devised a series of exercises to explore methods of time management, sharing best practise and continuous service innovation. Small group exercises gave the learners opportunities to employ time management tools so the facilitated reviews were able to focus on individual understanding and development. They let delegates closely examine their behaviour, approach and attitude in a positive environment and commit to doing things differently to support the organisation’s goals and culture.

Benefit to the Customer – The event provided a springboard for this team of managers and supervisors to focus on remaining ahead of the competition. Each individual identified an achievable personal objective to help achieve this.

Type of event: Project simulation/rehearsal
Customer Group – Project Team from 5 different organisations.

Our Brief – Provide a rehearsal of a complex, large-scale project. Create a one-project mentality, with a common project goal. The rehearsal provided a platform to communicate the project plan, improve and build upon existing relationships, review the impact of individual actions upon the whole project and explore collaborative behaviours of individuals involved.

What We Did
- We built a physical simulation of the project giving individuals the opportunity to experience how all sides of the project influenced each other and how events, activities and decisions are linked.

Benefit to Customer:
  • Improved project understanding and creation of one motivated project team committed to delivering a successful project
  • The return of revenue streams at the earliest possible time
  • Improved public reputation through exceeding delivery expectations
  • Reduced project costs
  • A safer project through better global understanding
  • Maintaining good partnership relationships

Type of event: Team Improvement/Culture Change
Customer Group – Senior Management Team

Our Brief - Initiate a shift in the culture and attitudes of the senior management team, exploring the following issues:

  • Team motivation and pride in the organisation
  • Individual roles within the organisation
  • Accountability and ownership issues
  • Improving trust and respect among the senior team
  • Showing the impact individual contribution can make

Provide an opportunity for individuals to interact and learn away from their normal environment.

What we did – We provided a day-long programme comprising a series of small-scale exercises, each simulating an area of the organisation’s activity. The exercises made individuals behave as they would at work and the impact of individual contribution was accurately represented. Skilled facilitation explored these behaviours and solutions were sought to improve interaction and practice at work.

Benefit to the customer - The programme acted as a starting point for continuous development within the team. Each individual left the programme with a clear idea of what they can do differently to improve workplace relationships or the ‘way things were done’. Individuals had fully considered what changes were realistic considering their workload and ability.
